Here's a bit about us! We don't bite, so come say hi at the next Kaffeeklatsch.
President: Cris Barbulescu About me: I've been a German Club member and on the committee since my
first year at uni in 2002, so you can tell I love organizing things.
About the role: I've just taken over as President, so I'll
have to let you know later!
Secretary: Sarah Swift About
me: I'm also in the AU Food Tech Association, who joined the AUGC on the Winery Tour this year! About the role: The Secretary takes the minutes at the meetings, publishes
the Agenda, and tries to help the President out as much as possible.
Treasurer: Adrian Jones About me: I'm finishing
up a Masters in Comparative Law and working full time. I also watch lots of The Sopranos and run around in a maze
shooting people with lasers! About the role: As Treasurer, I take care of the money from the events that we
hold throughout the year - or that's how it is supposed to work, anyway!
Editor/Webmaster: Beth Nosworthy About me: I've been
a German Club member since 1999, and on the Committee for the past 2 years. I am currently teaching Law on campus. About
the role: As Webmaster and Wild! Editor, I'm in charge of keeping all the info up to date, and informing the Club members
and public about what we've been getting up to!
Publicity Officer: Mr No Name About me: I'm Mr No Name! About
the role: Currently, this role is being handled by the Committee as a whole.
First Year Rep: Ivan Brichner About me: Hi I'm
Ivan - my team won the AUGC/AUFC Quiz night! About the role: First year rep is responsible for raising the profile
of the Club amongst new or future members, talking to interested people and trying to make sure that all Club members have
a chance to participate!
General Member: Sylvia Toelken About me: I'm best
known for putting up with dodgy costumes last year in both the Kabaret and the Play, but despite that I've stuck around
to join the Committee. About the role: General Committee members help out wherever they're needed - putting up posters,
working "Front of house" at functions, paying out the President, whatever!

Welcome New Members!
First year on campus? Not sure what the deal with all the Clubs is?
Don't worry, most of us still don't know! Basically, the best people to talk to are the Committee, because we are
on it to make it all run smoothly.
If you manage to miss us during O'Week - we are always very visible, with a huge German flag, and free beer vouchers(!!)...
then check out the info on the left, find someone who sounds approachable to you, and corner them next time you see them!
But do it nicely, or we might change our policy on biting.
--------------------------------------------------------------
If you're interested in helping out the Committee at events in 2004, with a view to possibly being
on the Committee in 2005 or later, please let us know!
We're always keen for the general members to lend a hand and get more involved in the running of
the Club, as it is there for you!
